During and right out of high school, I was taking courses at Neosho County Community College, working toward a nursing degree. Along the way, though, I was reminded of how much I love helping people feel confident and beautiful, which has always been a passion of mine. I realized that while nursing is about caring for others, my true calling is in cosmetology, where I can lift people’s spirits and boost their confidence every day. I was always the girl at school events braiding everyone’s hair and experimenting with beauty, and that natural passion is what led me to change my career path and follow my heart into the cosmetology field. I graduated from Premier Academy of Cosmetology and Esthetics in December of 2025.
