Sentinel Brief
The Alpha-1 Sentinel is a specialized unit within the task force, tasked with covertly infiltrating Foundation facilities and operations under the guise of regular personnel. They are responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day activities of the Foundation run smoothly while keeping a watchful eye out for anything, and anyone that subverts the will of the Council.
Sentinels are able to act as body doubles for O5 Council members, and will often work directly alongside their Head-Hunter counterparts.
Disguise Kit
The main goal of the Sentinel is to protect and serve any member of the O5 Council. You should use your disguise kit to this end.
1. Located in certain areas within the facility, there are wardrobes which contain disguises that are very hard to detect, including fake IDs and equipment that someone of that identity would have.
2. Before disguising as someone, put the identity you are disguising as in Alpha-1 comms as well as the job. Example:
"/a1 I am disguising as SR Billy on the Senior Researcher job."
3. Follow all orders given by the O5 Council while disguised, even if they contradict this document or any of the Foundations laws.
4. You are a combatant on any disguise regardless of the job, however acting as a combatant on any non-combatant job will directly expose your identity.
5. While on Non-combatant jobs you should prioritize your cover over combat unless the opportunity presents itself. Your job is viewed as a non-com and your kit will be significantly weaker, do not expose yourself unecessarily unless you have the tactical advantage.
6. While disguised, you lose access to the comms on your regular Sentinel job; as such you are permitted to /pm any member of Alpha-1, Site Administration or O5 Council member in-RP.
7. When acting as a body double for an O5 Council member, you must not use or talk in any Chaos Insurgency comms channel.
8. You may not use the information you see in Chaos Insurgency comms in-RP.
9. You are prohibited from using the no-clip swep or voice amplifier on the O5 Council job. If you are found using either of these items, you will be immediately removed from Alpha-1.
10. You may only act as a body double with O5 Council authorization. If you are found using the O5 disguise without express O5 permission, you will be immediately removed from Alpha-1.
11. Sentinels are permitted free use of their cloaking swep to enable access to a disguise wardrobe, or to retreat from a hostile encounter or any other encounter that threatens to reveal your true identity. Sentinels are not to use their cloak swep offensively unless given explicit permission by a V.I.P.
12. Sentinels are expected to roleplay effectively as the rank and job they are disguised as, if you do something your job should not be doing, do not resist any AOS orders and instead roleplay the situation out.

Interrogations:
As a Sentinel you have priority over conducting interrogations. They may last up to 30 minutes from the start of the interrogation.
Anytime the captured person is asked a question they have the following choices:
Tell the truth (No roll required)
Attempt to lie/deflect (Contested roll)
If the captured person elects to attempt to lie or deflect and passes the roll off, they're able to lie or deflect the question successfully. If the captured person elects to attempt to lie or deflect and fails the roll off, the interrogator may elect to use torture methods.
The interrogator must RP out the torture method, which results in a second roll off.
If the captured person fails the roll off a second time, they are forced to answer truthfully. If the captured person passes the roll off, they lie successfully.
The interrogator has 5 torture attempts.
If a medically trained individual (ideally an Artificer) is assisting in the interrogation, they engage in a contested roll off with the subject. If the subject wins the roll off, a point is removed. If the medically trained individual wins, no point is removed.
After all attempts the interrogator rolls off against the hostage.
If the interrogator wins the roll off the hostage goes unconscious.
If the interrogator loses the roll off the hostage dies.
The following personnel carry concealed cyanide capsules that are not detectable in a search/weapon strip:
All Foundation level 4+ personnel
All CI High Command+
All CI Special Forces
CI Eye of Intelligence Personnel
An individual equipped with a concealed cyanide capsule may attempt to consume it at any point during an interrogation. When they do so, a roll off occurs between the captured individual and the interrogator. If the captured person wins, they consume the cyanide capsule successfully and die. If the captured individual fails, the cyanide capsule is taken by the interrogator and the interrogation continues.
If a medically trained individual is assisting in the interrogation (Medical Branch/Subbranch or Artificer) they may assist the interrogator with the roll.
