🔧 What is a Room Flooding System? 

A Room Flooding Fire Suppression System is a fixed fire protection solution designed to completely flood an enclosed area with a suppression agent to extinguish a fire. It is widely used in spaces containing sensitive equipment or valuable assets where water-based systems (like sprinklers) are unsuitable. 

⚙️ Working Principle 

1-Detection: Smoke or heat detectors sense a fire and send a signal to the control panel.

2-Alarm Activation: An audible and visual pre-discharge alarm is triggered, warning occupants to evacuate.

3-Delay Timer: A delay of typically 10–30 seconds allows people to leave the protected area.

4-Agent Discharge: The suppression agent is released from pressurized cylinders through discharge nozzles, flooding the room.

5-Fire Suppression: The agent either removes heat, displaces oxygen, or inhibits the chemical reaction — depending on the agent used.

6-Post-Discharge: Ventilation is done to remove the agent and ensure safety before re-entry.
