I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara—a unique institution in India dedicated to the Transportation and Logistics sector, sponsored by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Prior to joining GSV, I gained experience across industry, academia, and research organizations, which has enriched my perspective on both practical applications and academic advancements in my field.
I completed my Ph.D. at IIT Kanpur, specializing in Cyber-Resilient Power System Monitoring, under the supervision of Prof. S.N. Singh and Dr. Abheejeet Mohapatra. I also hold an M.Tech. in Power Systems from NIT Calicut, completed under the guidance of Dr. Sunitha R., where I was honored with the prestigious POSOCO Power System Award (now known as the GRID-INDIA Power System Awards) for the research conducted in my M.Tech. thesis. My research interests are rooted in the intersection of Smart Grids, Data Science, and Cyber-resiliency, and I am passionate about pursuing industry-relevant research and consultancy projects that can contribute to advancements in these fields.
I am also a part of the IEEE Standards Association Working Group (IEEE PES PSCC S15), where we focus on securing IEC 61850-based digital substations. In addition to my academic role, I am deeply committed to contributing to society through active involvement in technical societies. As a dedicated volunteer with IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES), I have taken on multiple roles across the MP Section, UP Section, and IIT Kanpur SBC, and currently serving as Secretary of the IEEE PES MP Chapter. Beyond IEEE, I am also a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India).
