Analogue timepieces have become a thing of the past. Although people still purchase analogue watches, many of them are collectors' pieces which are to be preserved in time and not worn on a daily basis. This is where smartwatches come in, and they have come a long way in the last few years. Never in my early years did I think that I'd be wearing a gadget on my wrist which could do almost anything that my phone could, but then, here we are.

As time has gone by, smartwatches have become cheaper. Gone are the days when the only offerings in the market were the Samsung Galaxy Watch, Apple Watch and Fitbit. Nowadays, you can find great smartwatches which offer a plethora of features on a budget, and the wearables market is flooded with smartwatches offering similar features at competitive prices.

One of the recent brands making their name in the world of smartwatches is Gizmore, and the company has recently launched its Gizmore Vogue smartwatch. It promises a premium design and a vast array of fitness features at its discounted price tag of Rs. 2299, down from the original Rs. 6999, but is it the one you should go for?

Although the smartwatch might seem heavy, it feels lightweight on the wrist and even after a whole day of wearing it, the silicone strap feels comfortable. This is so during exercise and sweaty situations too. It comes in Black, Orange and White, although the only difference is the strap colour.

This is one area I feel the smartwatch could have done better. The laggy OS of the Gizmore Watch decreases its appeal and ruins the experience. Although the refresh rate isn't mentioned, it certainly isn't the smooth 60Hz that we've grown to enjoy, which makes the UI sluggish.

The smartwatch has an array of essential trackers, such as a Heart Rate Monitor, Women's Health Monitor, Sleep Tracker, and SpO2 Monitor, as well as meditation, sedentary and dehydration reminders. In the weeks since I've put it on my wrist, only a couple of times have the heart rate and SpO2 trackers have faltered, although the same cannot be said about the step tracker which started counting my steps while I was watching a movie in the theater.

In terms of battery life, the Gizmore Vogue smartwatch promises up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge and up to 2 days with BT calling. Although the smartwatch didn't manage to hit those exact numbers, it still lasted an impressive 8.5 days which is more than enough to manage on your long trips.

The Gizmore Vogue manages to hit the criteria which young tech enthusiasts look for, offering a premium design, good battery life and a vast array of health functions. Although the display offers punchy colours and is crisp, the absence of AMOLED is felt. The smartwatch is rugged, and it will stand out on your wrist with its premium design. Although the step tracker faltered sometimes, the other health trackers such as Heart rate, SpO2 and others were fairly accurate most of the time. The watch promises up to 10 days of battery life and lasts up to 8.5 in day-to-day use, and the wireless charging is an added bonus. So, even as the smartwatch looks premium, performance-wise it could have been much better.

However, having said that, the smartwatch currently sells for Rs. 2299, and not Rs. 6999, and at that price point, it is one of the best options you can go for as it offers a decent blend of style and technology.

Homegrown mobile brand Gizmore launched a new smartwatch, GIZFIT Plasma. This smartwatch offers a metallic curved dial with an HD big screen and fantastic features. The smartwatch offers an always-on display, a smart split screen and Bluetooth Calling. Its voice assistant support helps you to make and receive calls. In addition, it brings all the usual smartwatch features like showing notifications, reminders, health features, and more.

In the box, I found the Gizmore GIZFIT Plasma smartwatch with a black dial- blue coloured strap, a wireless charger, and a warranty card of one year. It would help you scan the codes to activate the warranty, find the operating instructions and link the watch to the V-Fit app on your smartphone. ,

Gizmore Gizfit Plasma offers a smooth user interface. You can swipe down for watch settings like battery percentage, brightness, wallet, settings, calls and others. Swipe up for notification alerts, swipe right for shortcuts to various applications, and swipe left to see the activity list, heart rate, BP, Music, and Sleep, and you can add more. When you press the rotatory knob, you see the 16 apps listed in honeycomb format. There are five styles in which you can arrange these apps. This smartwatch can be used in almost 23 languages.

This smartwatch from Gizmore offers wireless charging. With around 2 hrs of charging, the watch got 100% charged. I got to use it for six days with the minimum usage of the Bluetooth calling feature. So, GIZFIT Plasmawill outlasts any activity you do during the day and still tracks your sleep at night. The brand claims a battery life of seven days; note that the battery power will depend on how much you use the Bluetooth calling feature. I am content with the battery performance.

Connectivity and Calling Features  The Gizmore Gizfit Plasma connects Android and iPhone with its compatible V-Fit app. The smartwatch offers Bluetooth v5 connectivity that ranges up to 5 meters and can notify you of important calls, SMS and reminders. Once the watch is connected to your mobile, you receive hands-free smart notifications for incoming calls, messages and mail alerts. The smartwatch can track yoga, swimming, running, outdoor walking, basketball, badminton, football, cycling, hiking, and trekking.

The smartwatch offers three options for calling- Call, Phone book and Call logs. The telephone keypad is comfortable for dialling numbers. The Call logs option displays the last calls received from the phone and smartwatch. This helps in dialling back the unsaved number as well. The UI of the smartwatch offers options to reject, accept calls, and adjust the volume of its speakers on the display when someone calls on your paired smartphone from the watch.

The Gizmore GIZFIT Plasma is comfortable to wear with a striking display; Its UI is simple to use. The smartwatch and the charger give the feel of an Apple smartwatch. However, the Gizmore GIZFIT Plasma watch could have added a stress-detecting feature. Gizmore GIZFIT Plasma is a premium smartwatch with good features at a reasonable price.

Furthermore, smartwatch users can use the app to share vital health data on popular social platforms. DigiLocker will be integrated into the Gizmore smartwatch through the Tres Connect app, allowing users to store all of their health records and vaccination records in one place.

The Tres Connect app will initially be available for the GizFit Slate and GizFit Ultra smartwatches. In the coming months, the app will be available for all Gizmore smartwatches. The app is already available on the App Store and Play Store.

It has now become imperative for consumers to track their health. The new-age apps enable them to get real-time updates and make more informed decisions regarding their fitness. Our strategic partnership with TRES care will help us expand even faster in this segment and provide our users with better insights. We will soon make this app available for all our smartwatches and IoT devices. Along with providing expansive data and proactive health alerts, we have also ensured that this data is completely secure and not shared with any third-party apps.

Participating in the race, Gizmore recently launched the GIZFIT 910 PRO smartwatch, which has been designed for fitness enthusiasts of the country. We got our hands on one of the timepieces, and a detailed review of the smartwatch to let you know if this watch is worth your money or not

The company has introduced GIZFIT 910 PRO as a premium calling smartwatch at an affordable range. The smartwatch comes in a 1.69-inch rectangular display which is bright enough to help you see every mode even under the sunny sky. The dial is encased with a silver metallic dial, which gives a premium look to the dial of the watch.

GIZFIT 910 PRO comes equipped with an in-built AI voice assistant and Bluetooth calling capabilities. Once paired with your smartphone, the smartwatch works perfectly well, and you could easily respond to your smartwatch without any issue at all. The connectivity is smooth and is easily paired with the device.

On the battery front, the company has claimed that the smartwatch can last up to 7-day once the device is fully charged. And as claimed, we used the watch with a single charge and it performed well, was quite accurate and was not out of juice even after 6 days of usage.

The watch could be controlled through Voice assistant and we can control the smartwatch handsfree. We can also make calls from the smartwatch which is quite comforting while we are at the gym or driving.

GIZFIT 910 PRO smartwatch is a decent performer with almost accurate reading for footsteps, heart rate, notifications, and calling capabilities and at the budget of Rs 2,499, the watch is a decent bid to get. The watch is available on several e-commerce marketplaces and in offline stores across the country. The watch is a decent performer, but it is going to face some strict competition from the existing players in the smartwatch segments like boAt, Noise, Samsung, Garmin, Fitbit and more, which have been in the market for a while in the Indian market with wider portfolio and options

The smartwatch market has seen a dramatic increase in popularity over the last few years, partly due to the growth in health consciousness and the need for smart connectivity. The Gizmore Smartwatch has joined the fray, seeking to make its mark with features that might appeal to both fitness enthusiasts and tech aficionados.

Usability and Software

Ease of use is a critical factor in smartwatch design. The Gizmore Smartwatch tends to offer a user-friendly interface, which can be crucial for users who are new to smartwatches. The associated app, which users typically download to their smartphones, is meant to provide a seamless experience for customizing settings, tracking health metrics, and managing notifications. ff782bc1db
