For us to track our mileage on the day, each participant needs a strava account linked to an individual charity page on GiveWheel - this will feed into the group charity event page. That way on the day all of our runs tracked on strava will contribute to the goal!
Please can all participants:
Make a strava account (if you haven't already)
2. On the fundraising event page, click "join event". You'll be prompted to create a givewheel account and then create your own page based on the event (e.g: Your Name's Around Oxfordshire in 8 Hours). Just set the donation target to zero (we already have a group target) and leave the date as 19th June.
3. Then once set up you should see a button to connect your strava account to the page (leave the optional distance target as zero, as we already have a group target on the group event page!)
4. If you can't see an option to add your strava, navigate to your personal page:
then to the Manage Page button at the top of your page
then select the Advanced page, and find the strava/fitness challenge setting where you can sign into your strava to link the activity on the day to the charity page
5. Then you should have your own individual page linked on our event page, which will show your contribution to our goal!
