# Privacy Policy

Cookie Apps built the GiveawayPicker app as a freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Cookie Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at GiveawayPicker unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

## Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using my Service, I collect a limited amount of data through Google's Firebase platform. None of this data is linked to your identity, and I do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email, or social media credentials.

Specifically, the data I collect falls into three categories:

1. **Anonymous usage events** — for example, which screens you open, when you start a giveaway, which language and theme you choose, and whether a search succeeded or failed. Each event is paired with an anonymous Firebase Instance ID generated by your device, not with your identity.

2. **Crash and diagnostic reports** — automatically sent when the app crashes. Reports include device model, operating system version, app version, and a stack trace.

3. **Purchase events** — when you buy a coin package, I record which package was purchased and how many coins were added. I never see your payment method, card details, Apple ID, or Google account — those stay between you and the platform store.

I do **not** collect your name, email, phone number, IP address (beyond what Crashlytics may temporarily process for crash routing), precise location, social media login, photos already on your device, or the content of comments you fetch through the app for a giveaway draw (those are processed in memory and discarded after the draw).

The Service does not display advertising and does not share data with any advertising or attribution networks.

## Third-party services used by the app

- [Google Analytics for Firebase](https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics)

- [Firebase Crashlytics](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

- [Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases on iOS)](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)

- [Google Play Billing (in-app purchases on Android)](https://policies.google.com/privacy)

- [Apple Photos / Android MediaStore — only when you save a giveaway screenshot or video to your device's gallery]

## Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in case of a crash or unexpected error, I receive Log Data through Firebase Crashlytics. This Log Data may include the device model, operating system version, app version, the time of the crash, and a stack trace describing what the app was doing at the moment of the crash. Crashlytics may briefly use your IP address for routing the report to its servers; the address is not retained or linked to your usage events.

## In-app purchases

Coin package purchases inside the app are processed entirely by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) on iOS and by Google (Play Billing) on Android. I receive only an anonymous transaction confirmation containing the product identifier (e.g. `starter_pack`) and the coin amount. I do **not** receive your full name, email address, billing address, payment method, or card number.

## Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use similar identifiers (such as the Firebase Instance ID) to collect information and improve their services. Resetting these identifiers is possible by reinstalling the app.

## Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

- To facilitate our Service;

- To provide the Service on our behalf;

- To perform Service-related services; or

- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to a portion of their data. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on my behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

## Security

I value your trust in providing me your Personal Information, thus I am striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

## International data transfer

Firebase data is processed by Google on servers in the United States and the European Union. Apple StoreKit and Google Play Billing data is processed by Apple and Google on their global infrastructure. Both providers offer Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data from Türkiye and the European Economic Area.

## Data retention

- Anonymous usage events (Firebase Analytics): up to 14 months, then automatically deleted by Google.

- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): up to 90 days, then automatically deleted by Google.

- On-device data (your past giveaway results, language and theme preferences, anonymous device ID): kept on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.

## Your rights

Under Turkish KVKK (Article 11) and the EU GDPR (Articles 15–22), you can:

- Ask what data is held about you,

- Ask me to correct inaccurate data,

- Ask me to delete your data,

- Object to or restrict processing,

- Withdraw any consent you have given.

Because the data I collect is not linked to your identity, the most reliable way to break the link between past events and your device is to **uninstall the app** — this resets your anonymous Firebase Instance ID. For any other request, email me at cookie.apps1@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

## Links to Other Sites

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by me. Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

## Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from my servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided me with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.

## Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

This policy is effective as of 2026-05-07.
