Giulia Tarullo

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research. I am also a Research Affiliate at UCLouvain (IRES/LIDAM) and Ghent University.

I hold a joint PhD in Economics from UCLouvain (IRES/LIDAM) and Ghent University, defended in September 2025. During my PhD, I was awarded the UCLouvain FSR Fellowship and I visited the Economics Department at Sciences Po (Paris).

My research lies in labour economics, environmental and public economics.

I study how labour market policies and the green transition influence firms’ and workers’ behaviour, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups.
