[October, 14th] Giulia Cisotto was invited to give a keynote speech at the IEEE Communication Society's sponsored PhD School on E-Health, organized by the Digital Signal Processing Research Unit at the DITEN Department of the University of Genova and held in Genova.

[Sept, 30th] After a very intense and fruitful intership period, Yusuf Üveyik got back to Turkey. The WavesLab thanks him a lot for his work and his commitment!

The WavesLab was present at Trieste Next 2026 in September, 25-27. It was a great success!

[Sept, 23rd] Giulia Cisotto was invited to give a talk at the Italian Network for Computational and Theoretical Neuroscience (INCTN), this year organized by SISSA and held in Trieste.

[Sept, 18th] Shayan Sharifi successfully presented his first-year PhD activity in the usual poster session organized by the Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (ADSAI) to allow PhD students to transitioning from the first year to the second one. Congratulations, Shayan!

[Sept, 11th] Giulia Cisotto was invited to give a talk at the sandpit event, organized by AgorAI at Palazzo Berlam in Trieste. That was the first official announcement of the WavesLab launch!

[Jul, 25th] Our paper "Learning from VAE Errors to support ECG-based Differential Diagnosis of Myocardial Scar" has been accepted at ECML PDKK, Workshop PharML. This is the first work of our collaboration with the Units Medical Department (Prof. I. Gandin) and the Cattinara Hospital of Trieste (Prof. MD M. Merlo and his team).

[Jul, 16th] Our former lab member, Dr. Alberto Zancanaro, gave a brief talk on AutoResearch on July, 16th at 10 am at MIGe Dept. in via Economo, 12/3 Trieste.
