Welcome to my personal academic website! I am a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oxford.

The framework of my research is mathematical modeling for medicine.

I am interested in applications to oncology, with a specific focus on therapies oriented towards personalized medicine.
I develop continuous and hybrid models for epigenetically structured cancer cell populations in order to study their dynamics and to investigate the impact of ecological and patient-specific evolutionary characteristics on the disease progression and on the response to therapies.

I am also interested in the study of brain matter and the cellular population of the nervous system, with a particular focus on the biomathematical characterization of neurodegenerative processes.
