I'm an Assistant Professor TT (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato in Tenure Track - RTT) in Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematics "Guido Castelnuovo" at Sapienza, University of Rome, Italy.
My research interests focus on problems arising from mathematical physics and particularly from Quantum Mechanics. More precisely, I am interested in the study of universal behaviors, i.e. properties or phenomena independent of the fine details of the system under consideration, emerging both in few- and many-particle systems.
In particular, the main subjects I have been working on so far are Efimov effect, with a special focus on its relation with Thomas effect and point interactions, and the equilibrium properties of weakly interacting Bose gases.
In my work I mostly exploit tools coming from functional analysis and spectral theory.
