Parallel Science Lab is an interdisciplinary research lab focused on the social, political, and structural dimensions of science and technology. Our research focuses on the intersections of AI, knowledge systems, equity, and societal impact, with particular attention to research, patents, funding, disability, gender, sustainability, digital harms, and public policy. Across these areas, the lab is united by a shared commitment to understanding the structural conditions that produce inequality and to developing more transparent, inclusive, and equitable futures for research and innovation.
