Intelligent Vision Lab

We are Intelligent Vision Lab (IVL) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), led by Prof. Jae Woong Soh.

Our research focuses on a wide range of topics in computer vision and machine learning,  aiming to develop practical and versatile solutions for real-world applications. We aim to create robust methods that can be broadly applied across various fields, ultimately providing better vision for machines and making visual data analysis and manipulation more accessible and effective.

• 2026.08 - 🎉 Our lab has been selected for the AI STAR Fellowship Program of the Ministry of Science and ICT, with Professor Kim serving as a PI. 

• 2026.07 - 🎉 Our lab has been selected for the InnoCore Postdoctoral Program under the MOSAIC project, with Professor Yi serving as a PI.

• 2026.07 -  🏆 Team from our lab won 3rd place in the Challenge on Unified Removal of Raindrops and Reflections at the LoViF Workshop @ ECCV 2026.

• 2026.03 - 🤗 Jiwon Lee and Yeongjin Jeong joined our lab.

• 2025.03 - 📝 One paper was presented at AAAI 2025.

• 2025.01 - IVL @ GIST has officially launched.
