FEC's are really the backbone of the amusement industry, but often get overlooked by enthusiasts because of their small size and usually limited ride selection. Its good to see that they have not been completely forgotten.

That Southern Adventures place looks like it belongs in Pigeon Forge or Myrtle Beach, lol! Nice little selection of classic rides. I enjoy seeing photos of small attractions like that, as they tend to disappear without much notice due to their size.

We ended our amazing visit to Movieland Park by riding their Vekoma Invertigo, Diabolik. This thing rode amazingly smoothly for what it is and I honestely enjoyed it. To ride forwards is brave, to ride backwards is Diabolik!

Things were also made worse by queue jumping and rude staff at both attractions. These factors led to us not making it to park close with our re-ride session, but never mind, we were more than satisfied.

Before we ended our day with this beast. Funny Mouse is the only offcial Interpark Funny Mouse in the World and it was hilarious. Savagely brutal and hitting all kinds of strange transitions. Much like Jamming, the entire ride was spent almost crying with laughter.

During the first section of the ride you enter a dark cave with suspenseful music playing. While floating through the darkness Heartline let out a massive sneeze that made everyone on the boat jump and shout EYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

And the Italians know it. They were rocking up in nothing but shorts while we sat sheltered in the car, assessing the situation via the app and confirming that they had just opened a couple of rides. Eventually there was a lull in the rain and we headed in through the garish tunnel.

It was amazing. The indoor cave section especially is of much higher standard than I would have imagined. They present their Pinfaris with pride here.

It has 2 trains. 2!

And people were piling in 3 to a row. None of this 1 adult per car nonsense. Beast.

Leave it to family-focused Disney Cruise Line to come up with the coolest watery family attraction at sea. AquaDuck is a water coaster, like The Blaster on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas, and is found on Disney's two Dream-class ships. But don't expect anything too white-knuckle. The ride is relatively gentle by water park standards, mainly because it's designed for kids of all ages (and their parents, who can ride along on inner tubes for two).

While AquaDuck is slightly shorter than The Blaster at 765 feet in length, it has a bigger presence, thanks to its prime location encircling the main pool area. If you're lounging up top, it's hard to miss the massive, clear acrylic tubing of the ride, which is held up by 46 giant white stilts.

As for Star Tours, it was once the most revolutionary ride at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The genesis of the motion simulation ride that has since become a staple at Universal Studios, Star Tours has remained fresh over the years thanks to a couple of innovative updates. First, Disney threw out the original version of the attraction and made a sequel, The Adventures Continue. When they did, Imagineers had the forethought to future-proof their attraction.

In the immortal words of Highlander, there can be only one. Even at a park with a quartet of E Ticket attractions, one stands above the rest as the best of the best. At Hollywood Studios, that ride is The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the most thematic attraction Imagineers have ever constructed from a non-Disney property.

When my brother Bobby and I were little kids, one of the great treats of summer was a journey to a neighboring town where my dad would buy each of us a hand-dipped ice cream cone. During the drive home, my mom would turn around from the front seat and point out drips that we back-seat-riders needed to lick up quick. I, the ever-eager pleaser, would anxiously eat my ice cream as quickly as possible, barely taking a breath between licks. Bobby, on the other hand, came up with the more reasonable response. He would grin at Mom and bite...

A: The waterpark industry is continually evolving, waterparks want to offer the most attractive, exciting, and appealing rides. Since we live in a society in which guests demand novelty, I think the biggest challenge for the waterpark operators is to make sure they continually offer new, exciting rides that attract guests, keep their interest, and make them want to come back again and again. To help in that effort, we design our waterslides according to studies of what the guests want. Basically, that means the consumers themselves are now shaping the waterslide designs.
