We've been an active club at Georgia State University since 2019 and strive to close the gender gap in the STEM career space. With monthly meetings and events, we create a close and empowering community for minorities in the 21st century collegiate atmosphere. All welcome, and all majors encouraged. Coding is for everyone!

Hey all! My name is Sarah O'Brien and I am the Vice President of Girls Who Code at GSU! I am from Chicago, Illinois but currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I am in my third year of college, I'm a senior and will graduate in December 2023 (whoop whoop). I am currently an intern at Southern Company with their Technology Innovations team! I love Stevie Nicks and recently saw her in concert. I also love practicing mindfulness (meditation, yoga, reading, etc) and love a good outdoor walk. I am super excited for a new year with GWC, and can't wait to see the growth we have this year :)!

Hi my name is Stephanie Hayden and I’ll be a junior majoring in math and computer science this year. I enjoy reading, coding in HTML, Java, CSS, or Python and learning languages- currently learning Hindi and I’d like to learn Chinese next. My favorite programming language is still Java, because it’s classic and very well organized.
