Please bring a reusable water bottle to the event! There will be water fill stations available for students.
Girls Rock STEAM will provide a small snack during the STEAM Connect Showcase. You may send your child with an additional snack or lunch, provided it is nut free. Please be sure your child eats breakfast before the event.
If you need to cancel your child's registration, or have any last minute questions or concerns, please notify us via email at girlsrockstem.mtp@gmail.com.

When arriving at Arlington High School, please enter the building through the West Entrance, shown on the map at right. Please do not use the main entrance of the building.
Check-in will take place from 8:15 - 8:25 am, with the keynote address beginning promptly at 8:30 am. Parents/guardians should escort their student in to the tables inside the West Entrance for check-in.
After checking in we do ask parents/guardians to leave the building and enjoy your morning. You may return at noon to join the STEAM Connect Showcase. For folks traveling from further away there are some great places to visit around the area!
Arlington High School is located at 1157 State Rte 55 Lagrangeville, NY 12540.
Erika Finan will be our keynote speaker. Learn more about her at the "Keynote Speaker" tab! Her address will begin promptly at 8:30 am.
STEAM Sessions will begin at 9:00 am and run until 11:50 am. Your child will receive a printed schedule in their folder upon check-in. Your child's schedule is determined by their selections on the registration form. Last-minute changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as presenter illness.
The STEAM Connect Showcase runs from 11:50 - 1:00 PM. Parents/guardians are welcome to join their students for this portion of the day. If you wish to join, please arrive at 12 pm. Otherwise, arrive between 12:30 and 1 pm for pick-up.
STEAM Connect gives participants an opportunity to chat with local STEAM professionals and participate in hands-on STEAM demonstrations and activities. See the "STEAM Connect Showcase" tab for more info about who will be in attendance!
All Girls Rock STEAM will be asked to submit an exit survey during this time frame, helping our team plan future sessions. Please find the exit survey embedded below as a Google Form.
All parents must come into the cafeteria to reconnect with their child between 12:30 and 1 pm. As with before, please park in the designated lot and walk in the west entrance. Please check in with a Girls Rock STEAM volunteer when you enter. You will also be asked again to confirm pick-up on departure. Please come to the table to sign your participant out!
