Our first event of the academic year, aimed towards bringing students of various disciplines together to have some fun and get used to the campus and get to know others!

Every year, we host a panel event that covers a variety of areas, from career pathways, dealing with struggles in the professional world, and many more relevant topics!

Dive into innovation at Sharky Tank! A fast-paced, pitching-style competition where UBCO students channel their inner entrepreneurs. Teams of 4 present their ideas in a given category under 3 minutes to the judges. 

This Gala is geared towards networking, community building, and uplifting students in STEM. We invite researchers and other professionals to present their work too. 

A three - day event, where groups of students work to build and prototype solutions. Students then present their projects to judges for prizes and recognition, with goals ranging from innovation and skill-building to talent recruitment for companies.

A fun little event, at the end of the year, where you can come hunt for 100 little ducks hidden around that you can keep, paint some rubber ducks that you can also keep, and win some awesome prizes!!!
