Through the platform of Girls in Robotics, we would like to extend our most sincere blessings and gratitude to our dearest mentor, Ms. Huang, Fang. We deeply understand the challenges women face in the field of FTC, not only as team members but also as mentors. Without Ms. Huang’s support and guidance, we would never have been able to maintain the confidence and motivation to continue developing Girls in Robotics.
In our FTC club, everyone affectionately calls Ms. Huang “Mother Huang.” She patiently teaches us knowledge about mechanics and programming, tirelessly helps us debug machines over and over again, listens attentively to the trivialities of our daily lives, and takes us out for a warm hotpot meal late at night after competitions. Most members feel that, at first glance, Ms. Huang seems serious and strict, but after spending time with her in the club, they discover she is a gentle and patient teacher. In the team, Ms. Huang wears many hats: mechanical expert, programming guide, mentor, and friend. We sincerely hope that amidst her busy schedule, Ms. Huang can take a moment to rest, set aside her worries about the team during her free time, and enjoy life for herself.
As members of Team 12630 and Girls in Robotics, we will never forget the laboratory lights shining late into the night or the busy figure on the competition stage. Once again, we dedicate this page to Ms. Huang Fang, thanking her for everything she has done as our mentor.
