The Green Wave girls' cross-country team delivered a commendable performance at the recent Ashland Invitational, securing a solid 6th place finish out of 20 competing teams. The event, which brought together a range of talented squads, showcased the skill and determination of the Ashland runners.
Leading the charge for the Green Wave was Cecilia Gordan, who finished in a respectable 28th place. Gordan’s effort was a significant contribution to the team’s overall standing and highlighted her role as a key competitor in the meet. Close behind her was Grace McDonald, who crossed the finish line in 30th place. McDonald’s performance underscored her consistency and strength throughout the race.
Maddie Koenig also made notable contributions to the team's success, finishing in 45th place. Her dedication and perseverance were evident as she played a crucial role in helping the Green Wave secure their position among the top teams.
