I wear many hats but one I enjoy most and that is being a mother to my 12 year old son. My Son inspired me to continue my writing when I wanted to quit. He gave me something else to believe in.

I started writing when I was seven years old. Instead of going outside to play, I always had my nose in a book. Reading allowed me to escape to another world when my own reality was gray.

I created Girl From Valoria about five years ago during my first master's program. I wanted to create characters that looked like me, my son, my nephews, my neices, and my students.

I hope you enjoy listening to Girl From Valoria as much as I enjoyed writing it.
