Here are a few things worth reading (this list is still under construction):
Mark Harman. Draft Guidelines for My Students on Writing Software Engineering Research Papers.
Note: Even if you are not a student anymore, I suggest this document. It contains many advices on how to write good papers. I learnt a lot from it and I believe you will too.
Andrea Arcuri and Lionel Briand. A Hitchhiker's guide to statistical tests for assessing randomized algorithms in software engineering, Journal of Software: Testing, Verification and Reliability, 2012.
Note: This is a great paper about how to conduct statistical analysis in Software Engineering research. That is a MUST read for anyone in the field.
What I enjoy the most during my free time is practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
I've been practicing since mid-2016. Because of that I am a blue belt with 1 stripe.
During these years of practice I was taught by amazing Jiu-Jitsu professors from Gracie Barra. Cheers to professors MaurĂcio Milleo, Dalmir Cezar and Henrique Santana.
If you'd like to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you can find a Gracie Barra gym in almost any big city in the world. They will be pleased to receive you there.
Playing video games is probably what brought me to get a Computer Science degree. I've been playing since I was a kid.
The games I enjoy the most are: Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Fallout, Super Mario, Dofus and Wakfu.
If you'd like to play with me, you can find me on most video game platforms: Blizzard (Koxp#1144), Steam and Ankama.
I love craft beer. If I ever release a Software, it'll be under the Beerware license.
I am also the creator of the long time event held in the CREST group: Pub Fridays.
If it is Friday and past 6:00p.m., you can probably find me at the Malborough Arms pub:
I really enjoy listening to music. You can follow me on Spotify and listen to my playlists.
This is my all-time Essential Playlist (took me hours to build): Click me for a bunch of great songs.
In the playlist above you're going to find a lot of styles, from rap and hip-hop, to power metal and country songs. I hope you enjoy it.
Furthermore, one of my passions is Psytrance. I often go to rave parties to dance and have some fun.
If you'd like to get to know this genre of music, check my Essential Psytrance playlist: Click me to trip (mildly).
I usually listen to Psytrance to study as well. It keeps me concentrated for some reason.
