My research primarily examines how the financialization of non-financial corporations and working households amplifies inequalities and suppresses worker militancy. My key areas of focus include the erosion of the labour share, the growth of underemployment, and the sharp decline in unionization rates and strike activity. I am currently working on projects that investigate how financialization also shapes the finance wage premium and contributes to racial pay gaps. I have also published on social structures of accumulation, endogenous debt-driven cycles, and political business cycles.
