Since August 2025 I am a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, USA. My work is partially funded by an NSF Standard Grant (NSF-2550590, 2025--2028)

From September 2022 to July 2025 I have been an Assistant Professor/Courant Instructor and Morawetz Fellow at the Courant Institute (New York University)

From November 2018 until July 2022 I was a PhD student at Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS, Pisa) under the supervision of prof. Luigi Ambrosio and prof. Enrico Le Donne

-- NEWS AND OTHER LINKS

In  October 2026,  I am co-organizing the "Lake Michigan Workshop in Geometric Analysis  (2nd ed.)". More information will follow.

On January 14, 2027, I am co-organizing the special session "Recent advances on Geometric Variational Problems and Curvature" at the JMM in Chicago, IL (January 12--15, 2027).

Since August 2025 I am co-organizing the Geometric Analysis Seminar at the University of Notre Dame

In January 2026 I co-organized the conference "Connections among Spin Geometry, Minimal Surfaces and Relativity" in Chennai, India with Shubham Dwivedi, Lan-Hsuan Huang, Sven Hirsch, and Alec Payne

Research Interests

I enjoy thinking about problems with a geometric flavour, especially when they involve notions of curvature. In particular, I am interested in the field of Geometric Analysis in a broad sense.
In my work I have been using techniques from SubRiemannian geometry, Geometric Measure Theory, and Geometric Group Theory. See the page Research for more information.
