Research Experience

• A dissertation was written entitled “Morpho-Physiological study among the Adult Padam Males of Bolung village, Lower Dibang valley District, Arunachal Pradesh”, as part of M.Sc. program during January 2013

• Participated in the Fulbright-Nehru Senior Research Fellowship-sponsored project, “A Dental Morphometric Examination of the Distinctiveness and Affinities of Austrio-Asiatic and Tibeto-Burman –speaking Ethnic Groups of South Asia” under the auspices of the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) from 8th January- 31st January 2015 in central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh 

• Participated in Health Camp among the Chakma of Tripura, Pechartal Village organized by Anthropological Survey of India, NERC, Shillong during August 2019

• Executing Ph.D. research work under the theme “Bio-cultural Correlates of Infant and Child Mortality among the Zou of Manipur” from October 2014 – December 2021

• Participated in various National & NITI AAYOG Projects, Government of India, under “Denotified, Semi-nomadic and Nomadic communities in India” from April 2019- April 2023

• Participated in National Project “Gut Microbial Genomic Study among the PVTGs of India” since December 2023
