Talks

GIM Seminars are held every two weeks. Each session consists of two talks, one focusing on a topic from pure mathematics and the other concerning applied maths. Both talks are about 30 minutes long and are followed by 5-10 minutes for questions.

The seminars are held by graduate students and the aim is to share with other graduate students interesting results/facts from their field of interest at a nontechnical level - so an advanced knowledge of a certain topic should not be required to follow the seminars.

If you are interested please don't hesitate to join the next meeting and to check out the past talks on our Youtube channel.
