Focus on ideas not individuals; we can disagree on different issues, versus disagreeing with the person as a whole.

Learn from those around you: take on new ideas, and acknowledge if a mistake was made.

Let everyone speak. Be mindful of how much space you’re occupying and time you're taking up, especially if you are an ally to Gilroy.

Use ‘I’ language, speak from personal experience versus making assumptions or generalizations.

BE ON TOPIC

Respect the agenda and how many topics we have to get through in a limited amount of time.

Delegate continued conversations to committee meetings so General Assembly can cover as many agenda items as possible.

BE KIND

Prioritize community safety especially when capturing images/video or during digital discussions.
