The vue command is from Vue CLI. Vue CLI commands (i.e., vue add router) are not intended for Vite projects despite the similarities in project structure. There currently isn't an official Vite CLI command to automatically augment your project files to setup vue-router, so you'll have to do it manually:

Wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with WIFI connection to a home Generac unit. The generator uses 2.4g to communicate to its' Mobile link app. The connection gets established but is lost after a period of time. I suspect the issue lies within the Generac itself but wanted to reach out to the community in case others have experienced similar issues.

The router is approx. 25ft away from generator. There is one exterior wall between them. The signal is 50-60%. at the generator. I did try changing the auto feature on 2.5g to manual and using designated channels. I didn't try all of the channels but did use 1,6, and 11. None of these changes helped.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Thank you all who responded to my message. I applied many of the suggested solutions and it appears that the factory reset of the router solved the problem. Only time will tell if the issue is resolved but I'm hopeful.

Please mark your thread as solved so others will know if you feel this fixed it. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

I failed to mention this earlier. This is a new generator installation. Barely a month old. Connection issue from day one. Their initial response was "we have never seen this issue, typically just won't connect not dropping the connection". I wanted to be as certain as possible my equipment was not the issue before I pressed them to fix this. I will post again as this progresses with the dealer. Thank you for the advice. Should I change anything in my post/threads?

For quicker header construction many of the header field values are assumed. For example, if the header stack is "mac, IP" then the traffic generator can assume that the mac-protocol value is "IP". Or if the "port" or "interface" setting is specified traffic generator can assume "mac-src" to be the MAC address of the interface). Assumed values have distinct names that start with "assumed-" and are read-only. Manually specified values override assumed ones.

Notice that mac addresses were not specified since the template generator can assume the next-hop mac address automatically by sending ARP messages. Since we are doing routing and destination IP is not directly reachable, we have set the ip-gateway parameter to determine the next-hop mac-address.

If you change your wireless password, get a new router, or a new internet service provider, all you need to do is reconnect your generator to your home network. For information on how to do this, click here and follow the instructions.

Before this, there was no other way to join a WiFi network without having to select one from a list and enter a password manually. Our generator now lets you create a QR Code that allows you to connect to a WiFi network just by pointing your camera at it or by using a QR Code scanner. And the best part? Our WiFi QR Code generator is completely free to use, and the generated QR Code will never expire (unless the settings on your router changed). With a WiFi QR Code, you can also share your WiFi easily with friends, family, and your customers if you run a business.

The easiest way to stay online during a power outage is to use your mobile phone, either as a Wi-Fi hotspot or by accessing the internet directly on your phone. You may also be able to maintain an internet connection during a power outage by using a generator to power your modem or internet gateway.

Internet services are often still functional during a power outage, provided you have an alternative power source for your internet equipment. Internet service providers (ISPs) use backup power generators and batteries to keep internet infrastructure running during a power outage.

If you have fiber internet, your connection relies on an optical network terminal (ONT) in addition to the router. To keep fiber internet running during a power outage, provide power to the ONT with a generator or other alternative power source.

If you power your modem or internet gateway with a generator, your internet is likely to work during a power outage. However, internet reliability during a power outage is dependent on the preventative measures taken by your ISP and your local internet infrastructure.

The act of dividing a network into at least two separate networks is called subnetting, and routers are devices that allow traffic exchange between subnetworks, serving as a physical boundary. IPv4 is the most common network addressing architecture used, though the use of IPv6 has been growing since 2006.

To see the logs only from the router implementation, set the value of DEBUG to express:router. Likewise, to see logs only from the application implementation, set the value of DEBUG to express:application, and so on.

The link generator is backed by the concept of an address and address schemes. An address scheme is a way of determining the endpoints that should be considered for link generation. For example, the route name and route values scenarios many users are familiar with from controllers and Razor Pages are implemented as an address scheme.

The methods provided by LinkGenerator support standard link generation capabilities for any type of address. The most convenient way to use the link generator is through extension methods that perform operations for a specific address type:

In the following example, a middleware uses the LinkGenerator API to create a link to an action method that lists store products. Using the link generator by injecting it into a class and calling GenerateLink is available to any class in an app:

I'm currently going through email support with them. They asked me about my router, which is a Raspberrypi compute 4 with a nic had bought from seeed studio.

They also mentioned that wireguard is only available on their app. But they don't have any support on their site for openvpn as well (as far as openwrt). So to be continued. It takes a day for their response so I'll keep you updated on how it progresses.

I'll check it out.

I'm no expert in setting up openwrt, but I did set up a pfsense router before. My hope is that the configurations are similar enough to get by.

I'm on vacation next week so that's the week I will play with this.

Thanks for your help and if I run into issues I will post a new thread.

Do you ever get tired of not having a good way to hook power to a terminal or some other interior item without doing some magic. If so then this is for you.

Special Thanks to Devenalmighty who did the modeling for this mod.

Introducing the ICS Wi-Fi Router (generator) 9000. Currently there are three versions of the router

@PEIfiddler Strange! Yea I dont know the router would have triggered an overload alarm on the unit. Is your unit up-to-date with the firmware? And if you get any errors in the future, I recommend unplugging all inputs, then shutting off the unit via the app. Then when you press any output buttons or re-plug back in your inputs, it will fire back up and the codes should disappear. 589ccfa754
