World War II Pathfinder

Introduction

Scope

World War II is the most destructive conflict in human history. It was fought on three different continents which makes it a true world war. World War II is about more than just the military conflicts that happened. It is also about human stories, military stories, and conflicts. Sources for this can include books, websites, videos, and databases.

Mr. Stanczak's U.S. History WWII Research Paper

There are twenty different WWII topics to pick from. You will be writing a 3-5 page paper on one of these topics. Please talk with him to decide on your topic. This research project ranges from the military conflicts, concentration camps, Nuremberg Trials, famous generals of WWII, leaders of Germany, Italy, and the Soviet Union, bombing campaigns, etc. I have included primarily online sources. There are many books in our LMC on World War II that I have also included.

8th graders will also be studying World War II with undecided research projects so there are added sources for this purpose.
