GiliPaint is a digital painting application for Android. Drawing, editing, project storage, import and export are built to work offline. The only online feature is the optional Google Play purchase / restore flow for GiliPaint Pro. GiliPaint is operated by Jan Veselý, contact: gili.paint.dev@gmail.com.
What data GiliPaint collects
GiliPaint itself does not collect personal data, usage analytics, or artwork. GiliPaint does not run its own server and does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data or usage data for its own purposes. Specifically, the app:
- does not include its own analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDK,
- does not contain advertising SDKs,
- does not require an account or sign-in,
- does not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
GiliPaint uses Google Play Billing and Google Play services for the optional one-time Pro purchase, purchase restore, and related purchase diagnostics. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play under Google's own privacy and payment terms. GiliPaint does not receive your payment card details. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Because GiliPaint collects no personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, export or delete. For any question, contact the email above. EU users may also contact their local data protection authority.
Your artwork
Everything you create in GiliPaint stays on your device. Project files, autosaves, color palettes, and settings are stored locally in the app's private storage. Files you explicitly export (PNG, JPG, PSD, .rpaint) are written only to the location you choose. We have no access to any of them. If you uninstall the app, its private data is removed by Android. Files you exported remain where you saved them.
Permissions
The app uses Android's standard document picker (Storage Access Framework) to open and save files, and to import an image as a custom brush tip. This grants access only to the specific files you select, only when you select them. An imported image is processed entirely on your device and stored in the app's private storage; it is never uploaded anywhere by GiliPaint. The app also includes the Google Play Billing permission, network state access, and network access used for optional Pro purchase and restore operations through Google Play / Google Play services.
Children's privacy
GiliPaint itself does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above (for example, by adding optional crash reporting), this policy will be updated first and the change will be clearly noted in the app's release notes.
