Parliament Voting

-Once a decision is voted on, Admin will approve it and enforce it if it doesn't go beyond the Limits to UN

-After an election the existing voting proposals becomes closed to voting.

-Voting must be done in correct Parliament Voting Channel on Discord.

Auto Voting

-If player signs contract agreeing to vote certain way regarding a specific Parliament proposal then their vote is auto tallied.

-Players cannot sign contracts agreeing to blindly vote yes to a Parliament proposals not yet proposed.

-Parties may delegate parliament so long as delegate is following the party's beliefs

-Parties may nominate a successor to a party leader

Limit to Voting

-Parliament can't vote on policies during Emergency Election Referendum

Budget Powers

-Creates/removes guidelines which determines how Parliament spends their portion of the UN Budget (+½)

-Limit or allow UN executive actions outlined in the server rules (+½)

(Note the overall budget apportionment is managed by Admin)

Event Powers

-Host discord events (+½)

-Change or require certain materials on website news/trends (+½)

-Change or require certain UN ventures on UN economic listings discord (+½)

-Control what private ventures are on UN economic listings discord (+½)

Checks on Executive Branch

-Impeach Executives (⅔)

-Force Executive action (⅔)

-Override Secretary of State Treaties (⅔)

Laws

-Make laws to restrict or compel actions *see law rules (+½)

-Force law violation conviction (+½) 

-Pardon law violators (+½) 

-Establish UN Towns (+½)

*Note, Parliament members have access to Server Court where they can report law violations, Admin Gluon acts as Judge (but Parliament can override Gluon's decisions)

Creating a Party

Each player may create one party.

Parties must have a unique name, fiscal/monetary policy, general policy, and unique color.

Parliament Elections

Held on the 14th and the 28th

• Only players can vote

• If you do multiple emojis, your vote gets divided into fractions.

• Cycles through each Parliament Group for each election.

• % vote correlates to the % of a group you win

Managed Democracy

If it's obvious what you would have wanted, Admin will auto count your vote

(For example, Tis Me obviously wants Tis Me to win unless otherwise stated)

Who can Vote

Active players can vote, do not use multiple accounts to vote, player account must be a verified discord member

(Active players must, measured from a month ago, have 5 minutes of playtime)

Randomly give 2 votes to one party

Too Few Points Rule

If a Party gets less than 2% of points in Parliament then they can still propose laws in Parliament but they don't get counted toward Parliament vote percentages

Embezzlement Rules

A: Embezzlement of funds is not allowed. 

B: Embezzlement is defined as unfair use of funds for mere personal gain rather than doing your cabinet job.

C: Embezzlement is also defined as violating the Budget Guidelines or violating the UN Limits

Embezzlement Enforcement

A: Admin will block actions

B: If you persist in trying to embezzle then Admin won't let you withdraw or grant/loan government money for anything
