Kimchi Jjigae (김치찌개):
Ingredients
Kimchi
Tofu
Pork (optional)
Onion
Garlic
Scallions
Korean red pepper flakes
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Water
Recipe
Heat a pot and sauté sliced pork (if using) until browned.
Add chopped onions and garlic, and stir until fragrant.
Pour in water and bring to a simmer.
Add chopped kimchi and tofu cubes, and season with soy sauce, Korean red pepper flakes, and sesame oil.
Simmer until the flavors meld together and the kimchi softens.
Garnish with sliced scallions before serving.
