Bibimbap (비빔밥)
Ingredients
Cooked rice
Assorted vegetables (carrots, spinach, bean sprouts, mushrooms, zucchini)
Beef (or tofu)
Eggs
Sesame oil
Gochujang (red pepper paste)
Sesame seeds
Recipe
Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
Sauté or stir-fry assorted vegetables separately until cooked but still slightly crisp.
If using beef, thinly slice it and marinate with soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic. Cook until done.
Fry eggs sunny-side-up or to your preference.
To assemble, place the cooked rice in a bowl, arrange the vegetables, beef (or tofu), and egg on top.
Add a dollop of gochujang and drizzle sesame oil over the ingredients.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and mix everything together before eating.
