Summary & Goals For Upcoming Year

This year, Gilbert Christian Toastmasters focused on establishing the foundation of the club; building student confidence, communication skills, and leadership through structured speaking practice, evaluations, and impromptu speaking opportunities.

As an initial launch year, participation centered around a small but committed core group, with engagement driven largely by personal invitation and peer connection.

Looking ahead to next year, our priorities are:

• Increase overall participation and consistent attendance by approximately 40–100% as the club transitions from its startup phase into expansion

• Increase female student involvement in the club

• Expand representation across multiple grade levels to create a more balanced and sustainable membership base

These goals reflect a shift from establishing the club to actively expanding its reach, visibility, and accessibility across campus.

We are looking forward to building a larger, more diverse, and more consistent speaking community next year.
