Gilbert Minja is a Master of Science Professional in Embedded and Mobile Systems Engineering from The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST). His research interest revolves around Electric Mobility, Renewable Energies, Industrial Control Systems, BLDC Motors, AC Motors, Agro-Machine Automation, IoT, Telemetry Systems, Data Analytics, and Embedded bare-metal programming. Furthermore, he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at The University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania with honors (2010).
He is currently the Head of Operations at E-Motion Africa, an Electric Vehicle retrofitting company in Tanzania. He previously worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Access to Energy Institute (A2EI), Tanzania. He is also co-working on innovative approaches to accelerate Sustainable Development Goals (SDG2 & SDG7) through R&D processes by designing and creating prototypes that are market-ready.
