Immersed in the exploration of human embodiment and the nature of life & consciousness, I’m a certified Chinese Medicine practitioner, mind-body therapist, meditation and Qi Gong instructor.

Over the past 20 years I have been leading patients and students to well-being that is rooted in the deepest resources of their body and spirit.

I view myself mainly as a guide to the inner-world and the path of health and healing.

Studying maps of wisdom and healing modalities from various sources east and west, I chose Chinese Medicine as my main professional path and later gained my expertise while working in an integrative oncology department (leading the mind-body department, teaching mindfulness courses and practicing Chinese Medicine).

At the age of 15 I encountered my first Chinese philosophy book (a beautiful translation by Yoel Hofman of Zhuang Zi’s classic of the Daoist path), it served as my guide for the next 30+ years (and still is).

At the turn of the millennium, after my military service and some travels, I learned philosophy and the study of south east Asia at Tel-Aviv university. Though I was passionate about the intellectual expansion it offered, I felt my calling was to actually embody the truth, wisdom and virtues that were discussed in books and classes.

Though I was passionate about the intellectual expansion it offered, I felt my calling was to actually embody the truth, wisdom and virtues that were discussed in books and classes.
I went on a journey - starting in India, where I felt experiential wisdom is more accessible (then in China). After several months of various meditation retreats and travels without any feeling of getting closer to my heart's desire, life brought a gift . it was early spring 2003, at the foothills of the Himalayas, where I trained under a French Taiji and internal cultivation teacher (thank you Christian, funny and somehow appropriate to discover a Chinese path from a French teacher in India).

At a certain point during a morning practice a change occurred within me, I experienced a deep sense of awakening and communion with the cosmos. From that point on, my path began to emerge, no more a blind painful search for an elusive answer. Now an internal compass was guiding me on a clear (though unknowable) path of living in accord with what can be described as a sense of destiny and purpose.

Since that point, almost 25 years ago, I have dedicated myself to the process, study and practice of internal-cultivation with various teachers through eastern medicine, mind-body therapies and healing paths – both in my own daily life and as my profession, serving my fellow humans. I live on the magical island of Koh Phangan, Thailand, where I share the benefits of this wisdom.

Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture and herbology , Diploma C.M (I.A.TCM))
Trained at the Stems and Branches school (formerly at The Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem).
The school was guided by Peter Van Kervel (a student of JD Van Buren) and was exceptional in the inclusion of classical theory based on the Huang Di Nei Jing , as well as a comprehensive understanding of the cycles of space-time as expressed in the Wu Yun Liu Qi system and a thorough integration of the complete channel system (including for example the divergent and 8 extraordinary etc.) in it's acupuncture style.

Qi Gong , Taiji and internal arts with various teachers over the years - The most influential on my path and practice was the time I learned from Christian (a French teacher at Dharamkot in the early 2000's) who taught based on the 'Vlady Stevanovitch method'. The most recent was a Qi Gong instructor training at Nam Yan Kung Fu retreat.

Integrative Oncology Department, Davidoff Center – Rabin Medical Center (2013-2018)
Worked as part of an integrative medical team under the guidance of Dr. Ofer Caspi, providing acupuncture, herbal therapy, and mind-body support to patients dealing with cancer and complex medical conditions.
Teaching
Led mindfulness and meditation courses for healthcare professionals, psychologists, and patients as well as conducting workshops and lectures for oncologists, nurses, and integrative-medicine practitioners (at the Integrative Oncology Department in Rabin Medical Center).
