How to play
· Create a group
· Choose a group name
· Set a spending limit
· Add members to your group in the Group Details tab
o If the email isn't associated with an existing user, an invitation email will be sent
· Enter the gift you want (required), description and/or a link if available
· Once all members have entered a gift the group admin will click a button to distribute the gifts wanted for other members to buy
· Open app when this is complete and you will see the gift you need to buy
· Get together and open the gifts
· When ready, the admin can reveal the gifts
· Go to the Play Game tab and guess who asked for what gift
· Submit your guesses and when everyone has done this the admin can reveal the results
Why This App?
This app is meant to facilitate the game while allowing everyone to gather in person and enjoy time spent together. Christmas is the natural time to use it, but it could be played anytime you are meeting with a group. I hope it brings you as much joy as it has our family.
Coming from a big family, Christmas time became expensive and stressful trying to buy gifts for everyone. We came up with this game to keep the tradition of giving without the stress, all while having fun. To make it even more interesting, we all put money in a pot and whoever gets the most correct wins.
