The Davidson Institute wokrs to recognize and support gifted students throughout the nation so that they can reah their full potential. This link will provide you with some characteristics of gifted children to help determine if your child is gifted.
CogAT is a cognitive aptitude test used to assess your child's unique learning abilities. It can be taken in your child's school or a class setting. Tests are administered by a Gifted Coordinator.
Advocating for My Gifted Child
1. Talk with your child's teachers about giftedness and concern
2. Ask about your school's gifted programs
3. Get your child tested.
4. Get involved with other gifted programs, organizations, and communities.
