I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Before joining TU Delft, I worked and consulted for different institutions such as the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS), German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Kiel Institute for World Economy (IfW), European Center for Economic Research (ZEW), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), European Commission, NODAC Consulting and International Finance Corporation (IFC).

I hold a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University. My primary research interests are in Value Chains and Structural Change.
