Gibson Sang was born in Nandi Hills, Kenya. For the 20 years of his life, he grew up in Nandi County, attending Nandi Hills Primary School and Terige Boys High School.

He attended Kenyatta University where he pursued a bachelor's Degree in Agriculture attaining a second-class honors Upper-division. 

He later enrolled in a Post Grad. Dip. in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi.

Gibson is an alumnus of the Kenya School of TVET, and an accomplished, dependable trainer currently working at Olessos Technical Training Institute.
