Welcome to Power Surge Youth — where students find belonging, purpose, and a place to grow.
Our group is designed for middle and high school students who want a space to connect with friends, explore faith, and have a lot of fun along the way.
We are a community of students who believe that faith is lived out together. Our youth ministry exists to create a safe, encouraging environment where every student feels seen, valued, and supported. Whether you're brand-new to church or have grown up in it, there’s a place for you here.
Our mission is simple:
To help students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live it out in their daily lives.
We do this by:
Building real relationships
Teaching the truth of God’s Word
Encouraging students to discover their gifts
Serving our church, our community, and beyond
Every week, students come together for:
Games & hangout time — a chance to unwind, laugh, and make friends
Relevant teaching — messages that help students navigate real life
Small groups — time to talk, ask questions, and build community.
Any 6th–12th grade student is invited! Bring a friend — or five. Everyone is welcome.
Time: Wednesday's at 6:30pm (meal served at 6:15pm for students)
Location: 1741 Jamestown Rd, Morganton, NC 28655
We would love to meet you and help you find your place here.
Come be part of something bigger. Come be part of our family.
Our youth ministry is designed for students in 6th–12th grade. All students in this age range are welcome, whether they attend our church regularly or are visiting for the first time.
