Gibbon Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) built the Gibbon Games application (“Service”) as a free application. Because our app requests certain Meta Platform Features through Data Use Checkup (DUC)—including In-App Purchases (IAP) / entitlements—the Service collects and processes user data required to enable these features.
We may collect and process the following data provided by the platform:
Meta user ID (pseudonymous platform identifier)
In-App Purchase status / entitlements
Information required to verify purchases
Country-level location (non-precise, provided by platform)
Platform authentication status
This data is used only to enable IAP, verify ownership of paid content, and properly provide game features.
Through platform or engine services, we may collect:
IP address
Device model and OS version
App usage details (session length, crash diagnostics, error logs)
Network status (online/offline)
This data is used to maintain app functionality, security, and debug issues.
The app may request access to:
Microphone (only for in-game voice interactions; audio is not stored)
Internet connection (multiplayer, entitlements, updates)
Some data remains locally on your device and is never sent to us, such as:
Local player settings
Saved game preferences
The app uses third-party services that may collect data according to their own policies, such as
Meta Platforms,
Unity, or other platform partners.
We use the collected data for:
Providing access to purchased content (IAP verification)
Enabling platform-required functionality
Improving app stability and performance
Preventing fraud and unauthorized use
Fixing bugs and crashes
Basic analytics (non-personal)
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
IAP entitlement data is retained as long as needed to verify ownership.
Error logs and diagnostic data may be stored for up to 12 months.
If you request deletion, all data we control will be deleted within 30 days.
You may request that we review, update, or delete any personal data the app has collected and that we control.

When submitting a request, please provide your Meta User ID (or the username you use in the game) so we can identify your data.
We will respond within 30 days and delete all data we control, except data required by law or by platform purchase verification systems.
Our Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe data was collected from a child under 13, contact us immediately.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page, and the “Effective Date” will be updated.
