I am Gianandrea Giacchetta, and I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Management (XXXVII Cohort) from the University of Pavia. The doctoral program was jointly run with the University of Bergamo. I successfully defended my thesis in July 2025, which focused on climate finance and climate stress testing within the European financial system.
Currently, I am a research fellow at University of Bergamo.
I graduated in Economics and Finance (CLEF) in 2015 from Bocconi University, Milan (IT), and I have a master degree in Management, with a major in corporate finance, at Bocconi University, Milan (IT).
I am also a certified professional (see here all my certifications) and I collaborate with DGPA & Co, a corporate finance boutique in Milan. As a result, I am at the intersection of academia and business and I love untangling both theorical and practical puzzles.
