About Registration

Course Dates: 10th December - 15th December 2018

Last Date to Apply: 30th October (Limited Seats Available!)*

*No applications will be entertained after the seats are filled.

To Register for the course, please follow the instructions below:

1. You have to first apply for the course, visiting the official page of GIAN Page .
   1. You will have to register on the portal and create an ID.
   2. You have to then complete and submit up the registration form.
   3. Search & select the course "Natural Language Processing and Big Data for Psycholinguists"
   4. Pay a GIAN Registration Fees of 500/- INR (non - refundable).
2. Once, you have applied for the course at the GIAN webpage, your application will be screened for shortlisting by the course coordinator.
   1. In case your application has been selected, you will be informed by e-mail and requested to pay the full fees through Online Payment or Demand Draft in the name of "The Registrar IIT Kanpur" payable at IIT Kanpur.
   2. Details for online payment are as below:

   3. The Course Fees (different from the one paid at GIAN portal) are as follows:
      1. Students: 2000/- INR
      2. Faculty/Research Staff: 5000/- INR
      3. Industry Participants: 15000/-
      4. Foreign Participants: US $200
   4. After you have paid the registration fees, kindly drop an e-mail to the coordinator at Dr. Ark Verma (arkverma@iitk.ac.in), with your name, bank account number, name of bank, transaction number. Also, telling us whether you need an accommodation or not.
   5. The above fees include all instructional materials (e.g. handouts etc.), computer use for tutorials and assignments, lab - charges & internet facility.
   6. Participants will be provided with accommodation and fooding on payment basis, which is not covered in the registration fees or course fees.
   7. Once you have paid the fees, please fill the registration notification form, without fail. Form is here.
   8. Registration Fees, once deposited, is non - refundable.
