Giacomo Melli

I am a DPhil Candidate in Sociology at the Department of Sociology of the University of Oxford (UK), where I am affiliated with Trinity College, Oxford (UK). Before Oxford, I worked and studied at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento (IT).

I work in the field of comparative political sociology, with a focus on class mobility, political preferences and behaviour, and the subjective aspects of social stratification. 

My research has been published in the British Journal of Sociology, Social Science Research, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, among others.
