Giacomo Del Nin

Hi! I am a mathematician, and I am currently a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (Leipzig) in the Applied Analysis group under the mentorship of László Székelyhidi.

I work in the field of Mathematical Analysis. I am mainly interested in Geometric Measure Theory and its applications to problems in Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, such as those that model defects in materials. I love isoperimetric problems of any kind. You can read about my research interests more in detail in the corresponding section.
