Evaluations for 2024-2025 Football Sideline and Competition Squads :
Marh 21st & 22nd --- 3:15-5:30
****Please fill out tryout interest google form, aquire an updated physcial, learn all tryout material linked before March 20th!!
**Upload your physcial & athletic packet NO LATER THAN Day 1 of tryouts on March 21st
Thursday will be used for coaches to see basic football knowledge, stunting positions, flyer flexibility, and tumbling
Friday is an official tryout where groups of 4 to 5 athletes will perform the fight song, a cheer, jump sequence, standing tumbling, and running tumbling in front of a panel of judges that will score them based on the rubric linked above
All athletes who attended these evaluation days are invited back to week 1 of Competititon evlautions
Sideline Team Placement will not be posted until March 28th
Continuation of Evaluations for 2024-2025 Competition Squads:
March 25th - March 28th---- JV AND Varsity Competition tryouts --- 3:15-5pm
All athletes who attended evaluations March 21st & 22nd are invited back to Competititon evlautions
Rising 8th graders are invited to attend this week as a CLINIC ONLY - as they will not be evaluted for placement until May 23rd.
Sideline Placement, invites to Varsity Competition Only tryouts, Sideline rosters & invites to JV Final Tryout will be posted after the conclusion of evlautions on March 28th (by 8pm)
April 1st - 4th---- Varsity Competition (Top 16 choreography roster) tryouts --- 3:15-5pm
This tryout evaluation is only for athletes invited back to continue tryouts for the Varsity (list posted on March 28th)
Varsity Choreography Team Roster & an updated invitation list to the JV Final Tryout will be posted after the conclusion of evlautions on April 4th (by 8pm)
May 23rd ---- JV Competition Final Tryout --- 3:15 - 5pm (Date altered due to GHS graduation)
this tryout evaluation is for all rising 8th grade students interested in trying out for JV Competition + 9th - 11th graders invited (updated list posted on April 4th) to continue tryout evaluations for the JV Competition squad
The following states the team that an athlete can be placed based on coaches discretion, stunt position needs, and tryout scores.

2024 Summer Dates:
It is vital to have athletes at summer workouts to progress as individuals and as a team. With cheerleading being a team sport that relies on each team member, we ask that you make summer workouts a priority.
Please plan summer vacations accordingly with off days and GHSA dead week.

May 27th - June 2nd
July 1st - July 7th
2024 Choreography Dates:
VARSITY Competition: June 11th - 14th
ALL Competition Athletes (JV included) will practice during these days
JV Competition: July 8th - July 11th
ALL Competition Athletes (Varsity included) will practice during these days
ALL SIDELINE (Jv & Varsity): July 12th
2024 Summer Workouts: (Tuesday evening & Wednesday Morning)
VARSITY Competition:
Tuesday workout 3-4:30 in Cheer Gym
(suggested) Tuesday Tumbling class 5-6 at ACA
Wednesday workout 9:30-11am at ACA
JV Competition:
(suggested) Tuesday Tumbling class 4-5 at ACA
Tuesday workout 5:30-7 in Cheer Gym
Wednesday workout 9:30-11am in Cheer Gym
