If you need a letter of recommendation because you are applying to a private university or scholarship, you are required to submit this Brag Sheet to your counselor. The purpose of the Brag Sheet is to provide your counselor with more context, details, and highlights about you as an applicant, in order to enable him/her to write a stronger, more personalized letter of recommendation. As one of the most important components of the college application, a letter of recommendation allows the admissions committee to gain insight about you beyond your own self-advocacy -- making the difference between a high-achieving student and one that’s truly exceptional.
Notes regarding class schedules and course change requests:
-The following courses are no longer available:
-English Learners are required to have an English support class.
-SENIORS may request a "5 Period Day" (drop their 6th class) IF they have at least 185 credits completed. The dropped class cannot be required for graduation, A-G, an AP course, or pathway course.
