Ghost Tears is developed and operated by CrazySoftware. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play the game, use online multiplayer, view advertisements or make purchases.
Contact email: mikkymike2250@gmail.com
Ghost Tears stores information needed to remember your preferences and provide game features, including:
Your chosen player name and avatar.
Game settings, such as sound, minimum word length and turn duration.
Hint allowances and purchase entitlement information.
Information needed to reconnect to an online room.
You do not need to create an account or provide your real name to play.
When you play online, our multiplayer server processes:
Your display name and selected avatar.
A randomly generated player identifier.
Room codes and connection status.
Submitted letters and challenge answers.
Scores, timers, match results and words played.
Reconnection credentials needed to restore your seat after an interruption.
Your display name, avatar and match information are visible to other players in your room. We recommend using a nickname that does not reveal personal information.
A private reconnect token is saved on your device. The server stores a hashed version of that token.
Our hosting and advertising providers may process information such as:
IP address.
Device model and operating system.
Application version.
Connection timestamps.
Diagnostic, security and error information.
The multiplayer service uses a hashed IP address to help limit excessive room requests.
Ghost Tears uses Unity LevelPlay and configured advertising partners, including Unity Ads, to provide advertisements.
These services may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, device information, ad impressions, ad interactions and diagnostic information.
This information may be used for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, performance measurement, fraud prevention and service security.
Android purchases are processed through Google Play. The game receives purchase and entitlement information needed to provide purchased features and restore ownership.
CrazySoftware does not receive your full payment-card details.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
We use information to:
Provide and synchronize online multiplayer matches.
Validate turns, words, challenges, scores and countdowns.
Restore interrupted connections.
Remember your preferences.
Provide and restore purchased features.
Display advertisements and grant earned rewarded-ad hints.
Prevent abuse and investigate technical problems.
Respond to support and privacy requests.
Meet applicable legal obligations.
Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, legitimate interests such as security and reliability, legal obligations, or consent where required.
Free players may see an interstitial advertisement after a completed match, including an online multiplayer match.
In Play vs AI, players may optionally watch a rewarded advertisement to receive one additional hint. A reward is granted when the advertising service reports that the reward has been earned.
Rewarded hints are not available in online or offline player-versus-player matches.
Advertisements may open third-party websites or applications. Those services have their own privacy policies.
The optional Remove Ads purchase stops interstitial and rewarded-ad displays.
Players who own Remove Ads receive up to three hints per AI match. The purchase does not provide unlimited hints.
Purchasing Remove Ads does not automatically delete information previously processed by advertising providers. It also does not stop information processing needed for online multiplayer, purchase restoration or security.
Information is shared as necessary with the following parties:
Cloudflare hosts the online multiplayer service and processes connection and room information needed to operate and protect it.

Unity LevelPlay and configured advertising partners provide, measure and support advertisements.

Players in your online room receive your display name, avatar and relevant match information.
We may disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, enforce our rights or respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell player names or multiplayer room records. Advertising partners may process information for purposes that some privacy laws classify as “sharing” or “selling.”
Online multiplayer rooms are configured to expire and have their stored room data deleted approximately 24 hours after room creation.
Locally saved preferences and reconnect information remain until cleared, replaced or removed. Explicitly leaving an online room clears its saved reconnect credentials on the device.
Hosting logs, advertising records and purchase records may have different retention periods under the relevant provider’s policies and legal obligations.
Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle your request and any related legal requirements.
Online multiplayer communications use encrypted HTTPS and secure WebSocket connections.
We use private reconnect credentials, hashed token storage and server-side validation to help protect online matches.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information can guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers operate internationally. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own.
Where required, processing and transfers are subject to applicable safeguards and data-protection requirements.
You can:
Use a nickname instead of your real name.
Choose offline play instead of online multiplayer.
Decline optional rewarded advertisements.
Manage available advertising privacy controls through your device and advertising providers.
Clear the app’s local storage through Android settings.
Contact us about your information and applicable privacy rights.
Clearing local storage does not delete Google Play purchase records or information already held by service providers. Purchase ownership may be restored through Google Play.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or portability of your information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
Some information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
Ghost Tears does not have a registered player-account system.
To request deletion of information held by CrazySoftware, email:
mikkymike2250@gmail.com
Include enough information to identify the relevant interaction, such as your player nickname, room code and approximate playing time.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details or private reconnect tokens.
We may need to verify your request before taking action. Requests concerning information independently held by advertising providers or Google Play may also need to be submitted to those providers.
We do not ask players to provide their age, real name, home address or contact details to play.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of online features and advertisements. Players should avoid including personal information in their display names.
If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact mikkymike2250@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, its providers or our information-handling practices change.
The revised policy will display an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
