Ghost Detector Radar Pro App (“us”, “we”, or “our”) freemium mobile applications (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection and Use

Our Service does not typically collect or store any personally identifiable information about you. While using our Service, we may collect non-identifiable information about your behaviour within the app to help us improve the user experience. However, generally this information is not personally identifiable and is aggregated. Any video or audio recordings made using the Service are stored locally on your device and are not stored or collected by our servers, any affiliates or third party service providers in any way.

Our app captures depth information from your phone’s LiDAR sensors and Apple’s TrueDepth API for the purpose of providing depth-based video filters. These filters can be used to customise your videos and are useful for seeing objects in the dark. Although this technology is used in facial recognition, we do not use this information for facial profiling of any kind. The data is only used at runtime to generate the personalised video filters – It is not shared or uploaded to Ghost Detector Radar Pro’s servers or any of our affiliates or third parties.

Users making inquiries about our Service, its privacy policy or terms of use using our contact form on our website or support email address are asked to provide their name and email address. This information is only used for the purpose of responding to the query. They are not shared with any third parties (other than our email service provider), and are not used for any targetted marketing or mailing lists.

Service Providers

The Service does use third party services that may collect information used for the purpose of either operating the service, or to improve the user experience (e.g. usage statistics). Any information shared with third parties is typically non-identifiable, with the exception of Apple and Google Play Services who may collect personal information about you in the course of processing in-app purchases, and Gmail which we use for receiving and responding to email queries (emails may contain your name and email address if provided by you).

  • Google – used for making in app purchases on Android (Google Play), and receiving and responding to email queries (Gmail).

  • Apple – used for making in app purchases on Apple devices.

  • Google Analytics for Firebase – non-personally identifiable information to improve app performance and user experience.

Note that prior to April 25, 2021, the following third party service providers were listed in this privacy policy. These were for new features and services in development that have not been made publicly available to users, and therfore are not being actively used to share or collect any personal information about you:

  • Facebook

  • AdMob

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing the Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, geographic region, language and other statistics. However, the informaiton is typically not personally-identifiable, is aggregated with other users, and is only used in the course of improving the app and the user experience, e.g. adding new languages.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

The Service does not use “cookies” explicitly. However, the Service may use third party services that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse these cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service which rely on cookies as part of authenticating users. To opt-out of any third party cookies, please contact the third parties listed above.

Security

We value your trust in providing us information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Video recordings and other content generated by you (including audio recordings) are confined to your local device only and are not shared with Ghost Detector Radar Pro’s servers, third parties or affiliates.

Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

The Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can remove their information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
