Ghost Call ("App"), provided by ASULA ("we", "us", or "our"), is an AI-powered simulation and social escape assistant. This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Ghost Call application.
1. Purpose and Nature of the Application Ghost Call is a simulation app designed to help users escape difficult or uncomfortable situations, feel safe, or play creative pranks. The app does not replace or communicate with any real emergency services.
2. Information Collection and Device Permissions While using Our Application, we may ask You to provide us with certain permissions. The processing of this data is strictly confidential:
Microphone: We use the microphone permission solely to allow users to record their own voices for the prank call feature. These recordings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Storage / Photos: We use storage permissions to allow you to select photos from your gallery for the caller ID profile. Selected photos remain entirely on your device.
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): This permission is required to display the simulated call screen seamlessly, even when the device is locked or the app is running in the background.
Notifications, Exact Alarms & Foreground Services: We use notification, alarm, and foreground service permissions to ensure scheduled calls are delivered accurately on time and to allow the 'Shake to Call' feature to remain active in the background. These services are essential for the core functionality of the App.
Device Sensors (Accelerometer): We use the device's accelerometer sensors to enable the 'Shake to Call' feature. This sensor data is processed locally on your device in real-time to detect the shake gesture and is never collected, stored, transmitted, or shared with any third party.
3. Data Collected and Purposes of Use The app collects only the minimum amount of data necessary:
Account and Authentication Data: We use Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts efficiently (via anonymous logins).
In-App Transaction Data: Firebase Firestore is used to sync your token balance and your in-app usage preferences securely.
Text Input for AI Voice: The text you type to generate AI voices is sent to ElevenLabs servers exclusively for processing and converting into audio. Users are strongly advised not to enter any personal, sensitive, or identifiable information (e.g., names, addresses, ID numbers) into the text input fields.
Advertising Data: We use AdMob to display advertisements. Ad networks may collect and use your device's Advertising ID or similar identifiers to provide personalized ads.
4. Data Not Collected (Special Privacy Commitment) As part of our commitment to user safety, the following data is STRICTLY NOT ACCESSED:
Your device's personal contacts (Phone Book)
Your real call history (Call Logs)
Your text messages (SMS)
5. Third-Party Services The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We integrate these to provide necessary functionality and in-app purchases:
Google Play Services: Core Android infrastructure and payment gateways.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: To analyze app usage and monitor app crashes for quality improvements.
RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases, subscriptions, and tokens.
ElevenLabs: For AI voice synthesis (processing text only).
AdMob: For displaying advertisements (may collect Advertising ID).
6. Children's Privacy These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13 (or 18, depending on regional laws). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
8. Data Security and Deletion Requests We encrypt our backend connections. You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.
